The Question: 07/02 - What anime did you watch this weekend?

Things have been so busy around here. You guys already know about all the bad luck that I've been having, which continues to pour down on me with no end in sight. While all that's wearing me down, at least I had a surprise birthday party for my girlfriend. That was a bit of fun over the weekend, but now it's back to the daily grind.

What anime have you been watching lately? I literally have next to no time to play games or watch anime. When I do play games, it's for a review. As for anime, I've popped in on Toonami a few times while working, so I'm in and out of paying attention. I sure hope your anime intake has been better than mine!

High School of the Dead: Season 2 green lit

Are you a fan of gratuitous fan-service, zombies, blood/guts and all out action? Then you're probably a fan of High School of the Dead! If so, you'll be very happy to know that Kadokawa has gotten the green light on a second season of the anime! Expect the second season to run for 13 episodes with a Japanese air date of this Fall.

What was the last anime you purchased?

I have a ridiculous anime backlog. I have so many titles that I started and haven't finished. I also have a bunch of titles that I haven't even opened yet. Those are from the days when I had more expendable income. Things have been quite tight lately, which means I haven't had the cash to build my backlog even bigger.

This lead me to realizing that I haven't purchased a new anime in quite some time. I picked up the re-release of Graves of the Fireflies...but before that, I have absolutely no idea what was my previous purchase. There are so many series' I want to own and view, but I just don't have the time or money to do so!

The Question 06/18 - What anime have you been watching?

I'm finally back from my hiatus. I expected to be back last week, but I had a terrible situation happen upon me. I'm actually still dealing with that now, but circumstances prevent me from discussing it at this point. All I can say is that the issue is related to GoNintendo and is currently being ironed out.

With that said, I'm finally getting back into the swing of things with this blog. Let's start the week off as usual, shall we? Tell me about the anime you've been watching these past few weeks! Hopefully you've been spending a lot of time with the new Toonami!
