That feel good anime

No matter who you are or what you do, there are going to be some times in life when you're not exactly feeling your best.  That could be physically, mentally or both.  There's so much going on in the world and in our personal lives that it'd hard not to get run down every now and again.  It happens to the best of us, and I truly hope that it doesn't happen often to you guys and gals.

Working your way out of one of those ruts is sometimes no easy task.  You need a little bit of a pick-me-up to get you going back on the right track.  Sometimes all it takes is a different mindset to really steer you back to the path of feeling good and being happy.  I've found that sometimes anime can really work well for this.  I know it's put a smile on my face!

While there's a lot of anime out there that's action heavy and deep, those features usually come with some sort of uplifting message.  You see these people in situations that seem absolutely hopeless, but through some power and persistence they manage to come out above it all.  Even when things look like they are at their worst, someone or something comes along to save the day.  How can you not feel uplifted by that?!

What anime movie or series do you watch when you're down and out?  Is there any story in particular that lets you know that no matter how bad things seem, they'll eventually get better?  Even something as simple as an anime relationship between two characters can be enough to get you smiling.  What's the anime that lifts your spirits?

  1. Hmmm, well I watched Kannagi solely for that reason...I was feeling kinda "meh" and I wanted to watch something light and happy and funny. These anime usually dont go on my top 10 list or anything but they still make me feel better and entertain me for a day or two.

  2. I really like the random episodes of Inuyasha, the ones that are much more light-hearted than the rest of the series
